About Pin Drop Travel Trailers

Intentionally designed, PinDrop Travel Trailers are 100% solar powered, self contained micro-campers, built from premium raw materials by experienced tradesmen, and manufactured in rural and historic Miami, Arizona. PinDrop Travel Trailers was born in 2018 by avid campers Tim and Ruth Ellen Elinski. Sourcing locally whenever possible, PinDrop founders Tim and Ruth Ellen are telling the story of rural entrepreneurship with a commitment to help reinvigorate an historic mining town, hire local workforce, contribute sales tax revenue that will support community resources, all while creating the most superior travel trailer on the market. Tim leads design and manufacturing operations, bringing over 20 years experience as a licensed general and HVAC contractor to the company. Raised in a family of tradesmen, Tim honed his skills restoring historic homes and building energy efficient additions and new homes. Now licensed by the State of Arizona as both a trailer manufacturer and dealer, Tim brings his talent, creativity and eye for design to lead the manufacturing team. Ruth Ellen leads business operations, customer relations, and marketing for PinDrop. She has launched several successful businesses, including a vacation rental management business, where she curates exceptional destination experiences in the Grand Canyon State. She currently serves as a business consultant for companies throughout northern Arizona via her role as Center Director for the Yavapai Small Business Development Center (SBDC). PinDrop is a unique adventure brand because of the functional and durable design. Powered solely by the sun, PinDrops allow both novice and experienced campers the opportunity to stay out longer, off the grid, in remote destinations without the need to plug in, and without the need for a generator or shore power. This steel framed micro-camper boasts a surprising number of features and conveniences in a compact, super-efficient, well-insulated shell. Light and aerodynamic, PinDrop Travel Trailers can be towed by vehicles with tow capacities starting at 2,300 lbs. They are extremely adaptable to suit any travelers adventure needs. Profitability is assured because the focus is on quality over quantity, which eliminates warranty issues. The team owns their manufacturing facility which allows them to focus on the continuous improvement of the product. By attracting the right customer, they create individual ambassadors of PinDrop one sale at a time. They have kept their team small, and recruit highly talented, experienced tradesmen who are committed to PinDrop values. While Ruth Ellen and Tim could choose a more urban, accessible location for their manufacturing space, they are driven to support a rural economy. Once one of Arizonas economic powerhouses, Miami, Arizona is challenged with population loss, youth flight, underemployment, and severe economic blight. Inspired by what Miami, Arizona used to be, Tim and Ruth Ellen are committed to revitalize rural Arizona, building back the local economy alongside other area entrepreneurs. Tim and Ruth Ellen have created a company that is prepared to Recharge Your Wonder. Working collaboratively from their repurposed 115-year-old production facility in historic downtown Miami, Arizona, the team produces a clean, sustainable and environmentally-friendly product.
