Inklings Baby

Inklings Baby is a majority woman, part LGBTQ owned brand founded by two high school best friends. Based in New Jersey, Inklings creates colorful, rad baby toys and books based on imaginary friends. Making baby toys for the next generation by bringing the color, diversity and belief that it is ok to stand out. Our character-based brand draws inspiration from the vibrant and imaginative toys and shows of the 80s, bringing a touch of nostalgia to todays children. We offer six unique characters across various toy types, including plush toys, hanging toys, and musical pull toys. Each full-size plush is accompanied by an infant novel that narrates the story of a baby imagining their Inkling friend into existence for incredible adventures. Our books and toys feature characters of different genders, races, and family structures, striving to ensure every child feels represented and accepted. Inklings Baby is committed to reintroducing color and creativity to childrens toys, emphasizing the importance of individuality and diversity. We want children to embrace their uniqueness and celebrate differences from an early age. Additionally, we proudly support the Real Mama Bears, an organization dedicated to educating and empowering parents of LGBTQ children. We display the Real Mama Bears logo on our packaging and have joined their Legacy Collective Giving Circle as our primary charitable focus. We believe that fostering diversity and kindness from the nursery is crucial for raising compassionate individuals.
