Aspire Construction & Design

Aspire Construction & design is a commercial AEC firm - Architecture, Engineering, Construction. We provide design-build services to small businesses to design, renovate, expand and construct their brick and mortar locations. Architectural and engineering design, interior design, and construction are in-house services that create a seamless experience from concept to execution. Aspire was founded by Amber Lawson in 2017 with two main objectives - 1) she wanted to create the construction company she wished had existed when she first started in the industry, a place where how high and how far you could fly was only limited by your own effort and results, and 2) an ecosystem that approached real estate development from a holistic approach and provided other small businesses with the first class experience of having your own inhouse design and construction department wholly dedicated to their success. Aspire is committed to simultaneously building its community (literally!) AND building UP its community. We are most proud of our initiatives providing mentorship, apprenticeship and applied educational experince to underrepresented students in the fields of architecture, engineering and construction. Our most recent community service event involved Aspire leading an interactive S.T.E.A.M. workshop for high schoolers. Our boutique blend of highly skilled and technical services mean that we get to choose our client/partners with intentionality. We intentionally seek to partner with clients who understand the value in a one stop shop for design and construction. These partnerships and they are indeed partnerships. Our shortest client engagement is 3 months with most averaging 18-24 months. Directing our creative energies into envisioning whats possible for the next vegan Jamaican restaurant outpost or next educational facility serving neurodivergent children calls is what moves us, its what wakes up early to draw a sketch, its why we do what we do.
